Renewal/replacement of fluorescent lamps at PKG
3400 – This is the figure of fluorescent lamps we have in our school “Paul-Klee-Gymnasium (PKG)”. As this is an enormous figure, it seems to be important to deal with state-of-the-art technologies in order to save money and to protect the environment. You can reach these aims by renewing fluorescent lamps together with lamp bases and, furthermore, by replacing old-fashioned magnetic lamp ballast with state-of-the-art electronic lamp ballast. Electrical ballasts feature an efficiency factor of nearly 100% whereas the magnetic ballast’s efficiency factor is inferior by a percentage of ten to twenty. Therefore, you can save up to ten Watt per fluorescent lamp.
